⁵⁶ “·Praise [Blessed be] the Lord! He promised he would give rest to his people Israel, and he has given us rest. ·The Lord has kept [Not one word has failed/^Lfallen of] all the ·good [wonderful] promises he gave through his servant Moses. ⁵⁷ May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors. May he never leave or ·abandon [forsake] us, ⁵⁸ and may he ·turn us [^Lincline/stretch out our hearts/desires] to himself so we will ·follow him [^Lwalk in his ways]. Let us obey all the ·laws [commandments], ·rules [statutes; decrees] and ·commands [regulations; judgments] he gave our ancestors.
